Sharp tools: Make sure your blade is not dull. Otherwise, it will not cut the grass but tear it out, which will not only make the process more difficult but also cause the yard to turn yellow. Therefore, sharpen mower blades at least once a year, or more often if needed.

Follow the „dryness rule“: Never mow wet grass. It sticks to the machine, forms clumps, and slows down the process. In the worst case, it can completely damage the equipment. Mowing is most recommended in dry and cool weather.

Change direction each time you mow: Mowing in different directions prevents soil compaction and allows the grass to grow faster and more properly.

Summer heat and grass height: In hot weather, we do not recommend mowing the lawn (unless it is too high). Long grass creates natural shade, which protects the roots and soil from drying out. If you shorten the cover too much in the heat, the grass will lose its freshness.

Do not collect the clippings: If the grass is not very high, leave the chopped clippings on the lawn. They act as mulch, retain moisture, and serve as a natural fertilizer.
